Bhutan is located between Tibet to the north and Indian territories of Assam and west Bengal to the south and east and sikkim to the west.Bhutan had remained an isolated kingdom for many years, because it was open to the outsiders only in 1970s. This small kingdom is popularly known as the land of Thunder Dragon, the Bhutanese citizen, call the country of Druk Yul. Bhutan is regarded to be the expensive destination to visit in the world. Day 1

Arrive At airport & transfer to Hotel.

Arrival at Paro airport, Our company representative will receive you and directly taken to Thimpu, one-hour driving. The capital city of Bhutan. At daytime relax and visit local market around Thimpu.

Day 2

Full day Thimpu Sightseeing.

Today, you will be starting your tour with Tashischo Dzong a beautiful medieval fortress/monastery housing most of the government ofices and the King's throne room. This is also the chief Abbot of the Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan. We will continue our Bhutan tour by then visiting Zorig Chusum the school of 13 traditional arts and crafts, here you will also be able to see pupil at work learning their traditional craft. National Library; this facility holds an extensive collection of Buddhist text and manuscripts dating back many a centuries as well as some modern literature, an institute of Tibetology, the National Memorial Chorten, the handicraft emporium.

Day 3

Drive to Punakha from Thimpu.

Today, your destination is Punakha by driving. En route we will have a short coffee break at Dochula Pass (3150m). Punakha Dzong (fortress) this beautiful fortress was completed in the 17th century, we will also visit the local market. Then visit Khamsum Yulley Namgye! Chorten, these stupas were constructed recently. After that we will drive to Wandue Phodrang Dzong and the local market. The district of Wandue Phodrang is also known for its bamboo products, stone and slate carving, which can be purchased in the local market.

Day 4

Punakha to Gangtey.

Today, first we visit the Gangtey Gompa Monastery, this Monastery was established in 1631. The monstery is one of the main seats of the religious tradition based on Pema Lingpa's revelations and also one of the main of two main centres of Nyingmapa school of Buddhism in Bhutan. Today,we will go on a small trail termed as Gangtey Natural Trail, this is the most beautiful and a short trail requiring no more than 2 hours to complete the trail starts from monastery itself and ends to the trail can be extended for another hour or two beyond the village and on the trail one can see black necked crane, skylarks,temples and will have a bird eye view of the village below. Day 5

Gangtey to Paro.

At morning you will be taken Gangtey to Paro, on the way we will be visiting Simtokha Dzong one of the oldest fortress in the kingdom of Bhutan completed in 1627. It is now converted into a school for religious studies. Later in the day post lunch we will be visiting Ta Dzong in Paro, this was originally built as a watchtower to guard against the invading Tibetan intruders, since 1967 it has served as the National Museum, It holds a fascinating collection of various traditional artifacts, thankgkha paintings,postage stamps etc.

Day 6

Visit Taktshang Monastery 'the tigers nest'.

Paro Taktshang Monastery 'the tigers nest'.It has been listed amongst the top 10 temples, shrines and places of worship in Asia, in the 'divine list'. Built 900 meters above the valley floor on a flat rock face, this is the most famous and revered monastery in the kingdom of Bhutan, every Bhutanese is required to visit this monastey at least once in their lifetime. Kyichu Lhakhang; One of the oldest temple in Bhutan and is believed to have been visited by Guru Rinpoce, who was later instrumental in establishing the Taktsang Monastery.
