Kopra Dhanda Panorama Trek with Muldai Peak offers all the elements of a classic Nepal trekking tour, with pictures villages, diverse forests and enchanting panoramic views. It is located in the heart of the Annapurna region and is an insider tip for short treks in Nepal. Away from the otherwise busy hiking trails, you will be taken aboard a piece of almost untouched nature in a recently newly developed hiking area.

The mountain views from the Muldai Peak and the Kopra Dhanda on Mount Dhaulagiri (8.167 m), Annapurna I (8.091 m), Annapurna II (7.937 m) Annapurna IV (7.525 m), Fishtail (6.997 m), Annapurna South (7.219 m) and Many other massive mountains are of breathtaking beauty.

 This tour is an ideal choice for beginners and trekkers with only a little hiking experience who would like to experience the Himalayan mountains first Hand.

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu Picks Up And Transfer To Hotel

After you arrive in the Kathmandu airport you will be greeted by a representative of Himalaya Spiritual & Adventure Treks. After completing your custom formalities, You will be then transferred to Hotel. In the evening we will organize a Welcome Dinner at a famous traditional Nepalese Restaurant.

Day 2

Sightseeing Tour at Kathmandu Valley

Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu which includes Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath .PashupatinathTemple, the temple of Lord Shiva, is one of the oldest and the holiest temple of Hindus in Kathmandu. Then you will visit Boudhanath, the largest ancient Stupa, is the sacred Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. After lunch you will proceed to Swayambhunath, the oldest religious site and the most sacred shrines among Buddhists.Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3

Fly to Pokhara (30 Min), drive to Kimche (1.640m) and trek to Ghandruk (1.920m) – approx. 3 hrs drive and 1 1/2 hrs Trek

After breakfast early flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival we will drive to Kimche and trek to Ghandruk. This village is beautifully set against the peaks of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli (6.441m). We have the rest of the day to relax and explore. Ghandruk offers very close view of the Annapurna mountain range and the view during sunset and sunrise is just fantastic. The village still preserves the traditional houses with stone roofs and the local village museum is worth exploring. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge.

Day 4

Ghandruk to Tadapani 2.630m – 5 walking hrs

This is a beautiful gradual uphill walking day through thick pine and rhododendron forest to Tadapani. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge

Day 5

Tadapani to Dobato (3.426m) – 4 to 5 walking hrs

The Trekking route takes us deep in a rhododendron forest. If we are lucky we will be able to have a glimpse on wild animals. The trail goes up and down and finally we arrive in Dobato. From here we have amazing Mountain View. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge

Day 6

Sunrise at Muldai Peak (3.630m) and trek to Bayeli Kharka (3.420m)

It is worth to wake up early and make a 45 min. hike to see the sunset from the Muldai view point from where we can see more than 25 mountains such as Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, Nilgiri, Lamjung Himal range etc. When it is clear we even can see until to the Pokhara valley and the beautiful Phewa lake. After the sunrise and breakfast we will continue our trek to Bayeli Kharka. The climb is gradual and soon you will emerge above the tree line to superb views of the Annapurna range, continue to climb gradually though open countryside to reach a small pass, where the trail descends through rhododendron to an open clearing known as Bayli Kharka. Day 7

Bayeli Kharka to Upper Chistibung (2.975m) – 4 hours walking.

We descend through open ground and forest to reach the pastures of Lower Chistibung, we continue to walk through forest, ascending gradually and passing through several buffalo grazing pastures to reach a clearing and temporary herders’ settlement, known at Upper Chistibung, where we stay in the small community lodge. Day 8

Upper Chistibung to Kopra Ridge (3.660m) -3 hours walking.

To reach the ridge at Kopra we have a steady climb that takes us above the tree line. We reach our lodge for lunch and we will be greeted more fantastic views. This extraordinary panorama includes Annapurna South, towering directly above and only six kilometres away, and Fang and Nilgiri prominent to the north, whilst across the depths of the Kali Gandakhi Valley, the Dhaulagiri Himal dominates the entire western skyline. Day 9

Day walk from Kopra Ridge.

We walk toward Khare lake and return to lodge for overnight. Overnight teahouse lodge.

Day 10

Trek to Swanta Village (2.200m) – 5 hours walking.

We retrace our way down to Chistibung and follow a little-known trail that initially follows open ground passing through several buffalo pastures before entering thick oak and rhododendron forest that leads to the village of Swanta. Overnight teahouse lodge.

Day 11

Swanta Village to Ulleri (2.050m) – 5 to 6 hours walking.

We decent to Swanta Khola and ascend through terraced hillsides to join the main trading trail and trekking route at Chhitre. Overnight teahouse lodge.

Day 12

Uleri to Nayapul – 5 hours walking, then drive to Pokhara.

We descend the cliff to the village of Tikhedhunge from where we follow the Burungdi river past Hille, it’s series of pools getting more and more picturesque as you finally enter Birethanti at the confluence with the Modi river. From Birethanti, cross the river on the Swing Bridge, then turning west follow the Modi Khola through light forest to the confluence with a stream at Nayapul. We drive for about an hour back into Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Fly or Drive Back to Kathmandu

Transfer to Pokhara airport for the flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel
