This tunnel is approximately 500 feet long and runs 100 feet below ground level. After exiting the tunnel, the water passes through a cave called Gupteshwor Cave. This cave special value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered. Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple Phewa lake is a fresh water lake located in middle of Pokhara city. Phewa lake and water sports are the main tourist attraction of Pokhara city and the north shore of the lake has developed into a tourist district, commonly called lake side, with hotels, restaurants, and bars catering to the tourists. Barahi temple located at the center of Phewa Lake is the most important religious monument of Pokhara.This two storied pagoda is believed to be dedicated one of the Hindu god known as Vishnu. Shanti Stupa Shanti stupa has become a tourist attraction from where u can get the panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city, and the Fewa lake. Shanti stupa is a Buddhist pagoda style monument on a hilltop at the height of 1100 meters built in 1973.Shanti stupa is the shrine built as a symbol of peace.
Today, wake up early in the morning and drive to sanrangkot for sunrise and mountains view of Annapurna, Mt. Fishtail, Dhaulagiri and many other himalayan ranges. Day time will have boating in Phewa lake and visit Tal Barahi temple which is located the middle of Phewa Lake. Evening time you can enjoy by walking lake side and live music at lake side restaurant.
